- Rose gave a knockout performance as wicked stepsister Joy in a homeschool production of “Cinderella.” I especially liked Rose’s exasperated eye-rolling when Cinderella wasn’t quick enough to bring Stepsister’s gloves. Dominic also played in the production as one of the townspeople. He didn’t have any lines to recite, but he did have to dance, and he was a regular Astaire!
- Vincent has just started a demanding lifeguarding course. He is one of only a handful of registered students who are not already on the swim team. I’m proud of Vincent for qualifying for the course in the first place, and even more, for committing himself to the goal of earning his lifeguard certification.
- Gerard has moved up from Wolf cub. He was “knighted” a Bear scout in a most splendiferous ceremony, while his sister Helen, who is an honorary cub scout, stood proudly by.
