Yes, yes, I did say that I’d prepare nothing but momelettes. But today, with snow on the ground (again) and all the schools closed except for our homeschool (again), it seemed a good idea to treat certain prickly kids to a happifying breakfast. So I took the cooked brown rice left over from last night’s dinner and – after picking out the little nugget of kielbasa and shred of lettuce that had found their way into the rice cooking pot – combined it with some vanilla pudding. Result: Sweeter expressions around the breakfast table. Just the thing for a Monday morning!
